I saw a group of aunties, to be exact 5 aunties, in their 50s or 60s. They were celebrating one of their birthday at sakae sushi. I was so excited and told my mummy that in future, my group of friends and i will be just like them. However her reply wasn't what i expected, she told me otherwise (in chinese). fyi, the language that my mummy and i communicate is in chinese. So, she told me that how sure am i to know that my group of friends and i will be just like them even if we are close now, doesn't mean in future will. eventually, individually will have their own path of life and sway away. she left me speechless and think so hard and sometimes, reality sucks.
